Mumbai Camp Expands Registration for India’s Jiyo Parsi Population Support Scheme

A special facilitation camp in Mumbai has recorded strong participation in a universal Parsi registration drive organised by India’s Ministry of Minority Affairs in collaboration with the Bombay Parsi Panchayat. According to an official government release, around 300 new registrations were completed on the Jiyo Parsi portal during the event, reflecting growing community engagement with the government’s initiative to address the declining population of Parsis in India.

The campaign aims to expand awareness and enrolment in the Jiyo Parsi scheme, a central sector initiative launched in the 2013–14 financial year.
